Our favourite spots
The Lakes District: everywhere you turn it is unbelievably beautiful ! We particularly loved climbing Helm Crag, wandering around Grasmere, visiting gardens at Holehird in Winderemere, many many pub lunches in various villages, flying our drone through Honister Pass and high tea at Ullswater after a cruise around the lake
Glencoe: driving through the valley, visiting Loch Etive, the GlenFinnan Viaduct and lunch at Craft & Things cafe
The Isle of Skye: Neist Point for dramatic cliffs and amazing views, The Fairy Pools and Loch Mealt
The Cotswolds: Castle Combe and Bradford (but go early to avoid the crowds!)
The Peak District: An unexpectedly beautiful area! We only had one night but we loved Bramford Edge, Winnats Pass and Ashford In The Water
